KISS kicked ass! this concert was AWESOME!!Just AWESOME!!! Don't miss it
when it comes to your city. They are the "Hottest Band in the World", they
proved it with a "100,000 YEARS", the flames were almost burning down the
house you could feel the heat, you could say it was "HOTTER THAN HELL!!!!
So if you can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen! Use of animation
on DETROIT ROCK CITY was a suprise, it showed the KISS prowler crashing into
a big rig and as it was about to crash Paul made his guitar screech like
applying the brakes, It was AWESOME! KISS sounded better than ever. The
monsterous video screen and two side screens ensured every fan had a great
seat, for this show you don't need binnoculars. The use of lights at this
concert was brillant and very colorful and just AWESOME!!!
"I LOVE IT LOUD, "HEAVENS ON FIRE" and "LICK IT UP" sounded so raw/hard/ fresh just AWESOME!! They did justice to "PYSCHO CIRCUS" it sounded great and well reherased not like the Dodger stadium performance. I wish they would have played "WE ARE ONE" that song is like a KISS theme song, a great sing along. Another suprise, Ace sang "2000 MAN" and it rocked it was the first time I heard it live and he kicked ass. While he preformed, a video of the KISS imortals webseries was played on the big screen spliting back and forth with the live performance. On the solo Ace used riffs of other of his songs such as "HARD TIMES", "SNOW BLIND" and others. It was AWESOME! I tell ya!!!! I hope he adds more riffs to his solo ala meledy. The five mentioned songs made this concert fresh and exciting, I was glad they mixed it up a little. I hope they can mix it up a lot for the second leg of the Farewell tour. I'd awnt to sing "HARD LUCK WOMAN, Gene sing, "A WORLD WITH OUT HEROES", Paul sing, "ALL AMERICAN MAN" and Ace sing "ROCKET RIDE". If they can't add more songs to the setlist they should do a 10 or 15 minute meledy of songs, since this is there last tour. In brief it was AEWSOME!!!
WARNING!!!!! Ted Nugent the motor city mad man rocked!!!!! on a negative note don't show up till 9PM to see KISS, unless you don't mind your kids(and their were many in the auidence with their KISS fan parents) listening to offense language. I don't care if he swears, but none the less be parents be warned. Example, "this song is so sexy.....that f@##%$s will start eating p@&)"!!! or Kiss may ass! Suck my %@#$! Janet Reno is a w@#%^& and so forth. At the end of "Great White Buffulo" Ted shot an arrow threw his guitar, well someone fired a flare from one side of arena to the other, don't know if it was part of the show, but it looked pretty cool.
