MY GOD!!!!!! I've seen KISS countless times over the years. With and without makeup, and with every member (minus Mark St.John). I have always walked away fullfilled! My expectations have always been high....Too high for any other band to touch! But KISS always delivers!!!! April 12th at the Ice Palace here in Tampa is no exception! I went to the show with my best friend Dave. We had gotten 15th row center, aisle seats. Skid Row was cool. Any other night they would have been better....But who was there to see the Skids? Ted? Well, I saw him years ago open for KISS....He has not changed. He may even have gotten worse! I think he may have sold a t-shirt though! Than the house music and lights died....The infamous hum of the amps took over the arena. Then we heard what we have all heard for almost 30 years....The phrase that could only be connected to this one band...."You wanted the best, you got the best! The hottest band in the world.....KISS!!!!!!" Detroit Rock City never sounded tighter! The band never looked better! All through the show Dave and I high fived, sung, cheered, and almost cried. "Do you love me?" Paul asked us....YES! Is all I can say! Kiss is a lifestyle! They molded me, and a whole generation of fans in different ways...But still connected! So many people wanted to see this all come to an end. But I for one hope that there is still some music left in KISS. That after their solo work they do some special big city concerts...Anything! But if not...I salute them for all they have done...The friendships i've deveolped thru them, and the happiness they have always brought me! Kiss, I will miss you....We all will. THANK YOU for rocking us one last time....We will never forget you!
