KISS Farewell Tour Reviews

From: Pasquale Vari
After leaving the Molson Centre the night before, disappointed and depressed, I began to get excited about the next day. That's right, I was going to see KISS in Toronto. I got on the 11:50 a.m. train via Toronto. It was really exciting. I felt like I was following KISS around on their final world tour. Upon arrival I was instantly lost. No problem, I found some members of the KISS ARMY and followed them to the Air Canada Centre. We quickly became friends and started to talk about our experiences with KISS. When I got to the Centre I felt that magic. That magic that comes whenever I see a KISS show. Indeed, it was a miracle, I got back that "spirit of rock n' roll". I knew then, this was going to be a kick ass night.

The show opened with Detroit Rock City. I was up on my feet and never sat down again for the remainder of the show. All of a sudden, all that was old was new again. It was like seeing the show for the very first time, and yes I got super excited when Gene began to fly. Every song was better than the next. I sang along, I clapped my hands and I shook my fists in the air. Boy, I felt like I was ten again.

During the Montreal show I said my good-bye's, in Toronto I had a party with the hottest band in the world. Unfortunately, my trains departure was for 11:30 and as we all know the show ends at, you guessed it, 11:30. I left just before the encores. You know what, that was great. You must think I'm nuts but hear me out. When I left the arena, all I could hear was screams and shouts. That's the way I wanted to remember KISS. I miss you guys.
