Now for the show! "The Nuge" missed the guitar with his bow and arrow trick. Well, enough said about the opening acts.

KISS was is top form tonight. Certainly extremely happy about that, since it was the last show I will ever see. You never have to worry about Paul being great. He is always the classic cliche frontman. Boy did he dance that Love Gun stage! No knee problems tonight! Ace, my favorite member of the band was just fantastic. He hit every classic note and did not mess up once during his solo. The dexterity of his fingers was just perfect and speedy too! The only mistake I noticed was at the very end of the song "LET ME GO ROCK`N'ROLL." He miss timed the very last lick and Gene looked at him with the killer demon look. Hilarious! Still, it was the best song they played all night reminding me of the great bootleg jam session from Largo 1975, which I have a great copy of on video. During the song Gene was shouting out both Ace's and Peter's name at different points, since I think we both agree that this song showcases the original KISS at their very best. Peter was also great tonight!

He played a lot more fills and a niftier drum solo than when I saw them at West Palm Beach earlier this year. His drumming was miked and mixed very well and he took full advantage of the fact! Gene was also very animated all night adding a few more bass lines to that great jam session in "LET ME GO ROCK`N'ROLL".

I was a little worried they might be tired or reserved, since they had to make the trip from Montreal and were in the middle of a 3 nights in a row concert itinerary. But no. They did not let anyone down! Thanks KISS for all the great memories and for making me a proud fan since 1976. The legend will indeed live on.
