KISS Tour 2000 Reviews

From: Scott Goetsch
I have been a fan since 1975 and i have seen the original line up fifteen times and Kiss seems to be slowing down. Let me explain, First off no grand entrance as in the past. After the film of the kiss history they came out and was posed to start the show. What happened to decendig to the stage or rising up through the floor? Gene had mike promblems at the start of Firehouse. It took two changes to get a mike that would work and Gene had to share with Paul which did not work well in the song. During Aces solo which has not changed much he told the audience not to fall asleep on me during the solo. Ace seemed tired and was just going through the motions. Peter did not do a drum solo? What is up with that? Is his hands getting worst and can not do a solo any longer? Pauls misfortune was as he worked up the crowd to flyout to sing Lovegun, Ace was missing and there were stalling to start the song.Seemed very unproffessinal to me. And this is what really hurt me, no courtesy bow and the end of the show!!! Kiss has always done a thank you bow and threw out drumsticks and picks They just walked off like they had a party to attend. They did not even say Kiss Loves you, Vancover. I was blessed to have seats in the sixth row to this show ad was hoping to get a soveniur, but Kiss skipped this part. Finally the kiss merchandise that had anything to do with alive four was recorded here was gone during the third opening act. They should have done somethng to ensure that every paid ticket got some sort of sovenier Like a button or a pick. These guys could do that for there fans. Just think this show was not even sold out. Kiss not sold out? what does this say about there future? I was just glad that i could spend my new years with them because there time is running out. I doubt that they will have a show for new year 2001!!! Fan for life in C.A.
