I have to say that the New Year's Eve Show was absolutely GREAT!!!! My husband, Mark ,
his brother Jimmy and his wife Cathey and I traveled over 3500 miles across
country to see the show!!! We wanted to do something extra special for the
millinium and Mark is a DIE HARD KISS FAN (he has seen them nearly 30 times!)
I was up late one night and found where they were going to be so we thought
what the hell---We will go!!! Believe me it was money well spent!!! They
not use the Physco Circus Theme when they opened instead they used the blow
up statues of themselves. They also had large screens and when the lights
went down they showed clips from when they first got together and went from
year to year with pitcures, concerct clips, interview clips, etc. Mark has
been to alot of shows and he really enjoyed how they opened and I have to say
seeing the changes they have made over the year were pretty interesting!!!
Also they had a lot more fire, explosions, etc. The stage show was great.
They opened with the song Physco Circus and then they went into some of their
older stuff then back to their new stuff!!! It was really a great mixture of
all their music!!!! When Paul went flying out into the audience a fan jumped
up on the platform with him--it didn't take the bodyguards long to get him down
but instead of throwing him out of the concert Paul just gave him a HIGH FIVE
and kept on singing!!!! The fan that paid $3000.00 to go on stage was overwhelmed
with excitement as thus the audience!! Beleive me if you hadn't had to be in
Vancouver the day of the bid to go on stage--my husband would have been the one
to go on stage and I would have been right there with him!! OF course the 2
songs they sang when they came back out was "Beth" and "Rock and Roll all Night
and Party Every Day"!!!!!! Believe me it was definitely one big PARTY!!
We live in West Tennesse in a small town of about 5000 people and we were the
talk of the town for flying all the way to Vancouver to see KISS---especially with
all the YK2 stuff going on!!! It was money well spent!!!! What a way to bring
in the year 2000--it will something to share with our grandchildren!!! We are
looking forward to seeing their 2000 tour as many times as possibly--You should
too!!!!!
