Merry Christmas! From: KISSAsylum.com by Keith Leroux Hi Everyone!! I got a nice phone message this morning from my friend Matt Campbell. Matt phoned to wish me a Merry Christmas from Iraq!! Matt - I can't say it enough - THANK YOU!! I hope your day was peaceful and I look forward to next December when you return! Had a nice little Christmas get together with ERIC SINGER and BRUCE KULICK last weekend, when my friend Rich and I flew to LA, though we sadly missed our mentor Russ Dannecker who was involved in a car accident in NY. Russ is fine but the car was totaled. Went to the Lakers with Eric on Friday and then had a late dinner with Eric, Bruce and Bruce's girlfriend Mina! Mina is very sweet and seems to keep Bruce somewhat in line (just kidding Bruce!). Also went with Eric to see some old friends, Eric Dover and Stefan Adika. They were performing at the Cat Club on Sunset. Eric and Stefan were joined by Ryan Roxxi (Alice Cooper) on guitar, Slim Jim Phantom (Stray Cats) on drums and Dizzy Reed (Guns'N Roses) on keyboards. The Cult's Billy Duffy also played guitar for a few songs. Great show and a great lineup but Dover gets my vote for Rock Star of the night. If you have not seen Dover perform your really missing out. My family flew in on Saturday for an early Christmas present and we spent two great days at Disneyland. Eric drove down to Anaheim Sunday for lunch with the family. The kids love him, especially my 15 year old and that's because Eric acts like a teenager. What a wonderful way to start the holiday season. I hope you all had a great Christmas too and are has lucky as I am to have such great family and friends in my life! Russ - did I mention we missed you? |
