The Scoop on Union From: BraveWords.com Guitarist BRUCE KULICK (GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, ex-KISS) has issued the following remarks: "UNION is NOT back together. I have worked hard to get the DVD we filmed in 2001 ready for a release by the end of 2004 early 2005, and I am so proud to finally have it (will have them in my home next week). I booked Japan as a promoter wanted me to do some solo dates. I said, no let's do UNION." "The guys were all up to it, excited about the DVD etc, and then of course Brent Fitz got a great gig with THEORY OF A DEAD MAN. Left UNION drummerless for the Japan trip, which was the only thing planned for the band. ERIC SINGER helped out which of course was a natural and really made the fans and the band extremely happy!" "So now everyone is confused about a few things... is Eric in UNION? NO. He is in KISS. Will UNION continue? Only maybe and with Brent when he is ready. We will record a new disc? No plans for now." "John Corabi, ERIC SINGER and I with Chuck Garric on bass will do some ESP shows in Europe in late April. We will play songs from KISS, MOTLEY, UNION, SCREAM, BK SOLO, and great covers that the ESP band loves. (like the disc we made years ago)." "So that gets you up to speed with everything related to UNION. GFR will be booking more and more shows, we have quite a few this spring and summer already booked. Looking forward to jamming with the band. I did some work on Paul's disc, and it is shaping up great. He is half way done I would say." |
