From: Blabbermouth KISS bassist/vocalist GENE SIMMONS has posted the following message on his official web site: "Happy to report this week's 'GENE SIMMONS Family Jewels' outperformed our debut episodes. We thank you for the kind words you have sent us... Soph, Nick and Miss Tweed. And, if and when you ever meet them, you will be as enchanted by them, as I have always been. They make me a better man. "And, just got back from Indianapolis with my partner Rich Abramson re a new business venture for the Indycar folks. And, we will be attending the Sonoma Indy race on Sunday, August the 27th, and the Chicago Indy race on Sunday, September the 10th....Hope to see you all there." Simmons and his family — Shannon Tweed (the woman he's been "happily unmarried" to for 23 years), and their children, Nick, 18, and Sophie, 14 — are starring in a new reality show for the A&E network, called "GENE SIMMONS Family Jewels". Simmons recently announced on his web site that "GENE SIMMONS Family Jewels"' first episode was the most-watched series premiere of any A&E show since the launch of "Dog the Bounty Hunter" in August of 2004.
