From: pwinsider.com 1. Starts the show at 8:01PM with 2 PAUL STANLEY songs: "Live To Win" & "Lift". 2.Y2J says that should be the motto for every single Rock Of Jericholic listening tonight, says welcome to The Rock Of Jericho on XM 41 Da Boneyard. He says he's Chris Jericho & says "Live To Win" is a perfect motto to use in our lives courtesy of 1 of the greatest rock & roll singers of all time PAUL STANLEY. He says "Live To Win" is the title track & the 2nd track which's the 1-2 punch from the new record "Live To Win", says it's Paul's 1st solo record since '78 & asks as to why Paul decided to release another record after all that time. Y2J feels that Paul made a perfect point for the fact that KISS can probably never release another record again, says the lineup's not there anymore & it's half KISS with Gene [Simmons], Paul, TOMMY THAYER & ERIC SINGER... He says not to mention that what KISS does people don't want to hear new material from them, says they're 1 of those bands that can write the greatest record ever, but people might not wanna hear it. He says then again Iron Maiden's done it & Paul McCartney's done it with his last record, says there's some great tunes left in lots of these bands & feels that if Paul & Gene can put their egos aside, write a kickass record & get back with Bob Ezrin & maybe have another classic. Y2J feels the heads of KISS lie in different directions now, says here's the perfect example of the KISS camps & says Gene has his reality show on A&E ["GENE SIMMONS' Family Jewels where he's getting a facelift & his wife [Shannon Tweed] may be pregnant & has a son [Nick] & daughter [Sophie] & says "SKI-BI-DI-BAH-DU-BU-DI-BU-BAH-BLIHH". He says Paul's hitting the road & touring for his new solo record, asks as to who cares more about music & who cares more about being famous. He feels that Gene's mind is that he's done everything that he wants to do in music, says Gene still likes to play live & likes to be Gene "quote/Un-Simmons/quote", where Paul still wants to write new material & is confined in the chains with KISS & released his own solo record. Y2J says the record's very good & the 1st 2 songs is probably the best 2 songs on the record, says he loves "Live To Win" & "Lift" & says the other songs on there are either heavier or more melodic, but says it's all very PAUL STANLEY. He says you'll hear more PAUL STANLEY solo songs from "Live To Win" on his show over the next couple of weeks, says Paul always delivered quality & says there's no doubt in his mind that during the 80's if Paul wasn't Paul & wasn't with KISS, he feels they would've went under & broken up & end of story. He says he [Y2J] got into KISS with his 1st KISS record in '84 with "Animalize", says his 1st KISS that he enjoyed was them without makeup & says Paul was always his guy. Y2J says he got into the non-makeup KISS 1st, then got into the makeup KISS & says he was a little bit backwards & a dyslexic KISS fan. He says for the fact that Paul's songwriting was so great in the 80's which kinda counter balanced Gene's "K-rap" songwriting & says if there's any doubt in your mind, there's 10 years between Gene's songs. He mentions in '82 with "I Love It Loud", '92 with "Unholy" with no videos or singles in between as he said it many times before & says Paul continues on with some great advice with "Live To Win". He says Paul gave Y2J some great advice early in his career when watching the "Decline Of The Western Civilization", where Paul did an interview saying "the only people that're gonna tell you that you can't make it are the one's who've failed. I'm not gonna tell you if you can't make it because I did it & you can do it". Y2J says he thought that was great that the only people that're gonna tell you that you can't do something are the one's that've failed, says he himself has lived his whole life on that concept & says to look where he is today. He says he's in your homes & car as a kickass, rock & roll DJ, says Paul's solo record in '78 ["PAUL STANLEY"] mirrored ACE FREHLEY's solo record in '88 & corrects himself & says '78 ["ACE FREHLEY"]. He says Gene & Peter [Criss] also did solo records ["GENE SIMMONS" & "PETER CRISS"], says Gene's other solo record a couple of years ago with the oddly titled "A**hole" & says that's 1 of the worst solo records that he's ever heard. Y2J says it's so eclectic classic Gene where he's all over the place, says it's not so much the eclecticism of the record that bothers him but it's lots of the terrible lyrics. He says the lead cut off the record is "A**hole" & has the great mind: "your personality is like a bucket of pee", asks as to how can you release that. He feels it's kinda up there with "baby if you're feeling good, baby if you're feeling nice. You know your man's working hard, he's worth a deuce", says that kinda makes sense because "he's worth a deuce" must mean that he's worth a double bang, where you can bang the boy twice. Y2J says "personality is like a bucket of pee" are lyrics that he himself wrote like that when he was 5 years old & says there was always the internal battle between KISS fans in '78 as to who's solo record was better. He says there was never any contention as to who's was the worst & says Peter's, says Gene's was like a "take it or leave it" & says Paul's & Ace's were always critically louder as the best solo records in the KISS factory & the KISS solo record [as he says it] "quadronary". He says we heard some solo Paul as to what he sounds like without the rest of the gang, says let's here some solo Gene & Ace & again says this is The Rock Of Jericho on XM 41 Da Boneyard. He again says he's Chris Jericho, says his personality is like a bucket of pee & says to ask GENE SIMMONS he'll tell you. 3. Plays GENE SIMMONS' "A**hole" & ACE FREHLEY's "Snow Blind". 4. Y2J says ACE FREHLEY's "Snow Blind" was for a fan named Joe Shaw from Nashville who wanted to hear some ACE FREHLEY & got it & says it's from Ace's solo record in '78. He says it's still 1 of the greatest 4 section cover of all time, says the 4 solo pictures [KISS' solo albums from '78] are so great, says each are shaded & says purple was for Paul, green for Gene, red for Peter & blue for Ace. He says he loves it & has a poster of it on his wall to this day, that's next to the "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams" poster that has James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart & "Elvis-hah" [Presley], says he don't know why he did a James Hetfield impression & said "Elvis-hah-hu-yeah".
