From: KISS Coffehouse Jeffrey Scott Holland, neo-expressionist artist currently living in Louisville, Kentucky, turns his ultra-primitive "Southern Gothic" eyeball to The Demon, The Cat Man, Starchild and Space Ace in this once-in-a-lifetime exhibit of KISS-themed painting and prints, held in the band's very own coffee house in Myrtle Beach's beautiful and upscale "Broadway At The Beach" entertainment complex. Holland, a KISS fan since childhood, has often woven oblique references to the band into his paintings, which have hung in galleries and museums in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris in the last twenty years. His portraits of the band members (and the archetypal characters they represent) are done in a tongue-in-cheek manner that often pokes fun at his idols, but with love.
