KISS Konnection: Lyn Christopher From: NY Journal News Lyn Christopher wants to take you with her on a musical journey - one that started in the days when she was backed on her first, self-titled album by a couple of session musicians named GENE SIMMONS and PAUL STANLEY. You might say she gave them the KISS of success. Google her and you'll find that the 1973 album is a KISS collectible that isn't available anymore. (She has reissued that album on a signed CD, however.) Now she's performing with the Jimi Natale Band - and her next area gig is on Friday at The Turning Point in Piermont. "It's an honor to still be recognized as a force in KISS' early career. Now I believe it is time for my own recognition," Christopher says in an e-mail. "I'll be singing 'Take Me With You,' which seems to have incredible legs, and perhaps a couple of other songs from my first album." "To me, Lyn is a legend," Natale says. "You don't work with the people she has on her albums, and you don't invite PAUL STANLEY and GENE SIMMONS on your album, even though they weren't known then."
