ACE FREHLEY In Detroit: Review From: Eddie Golatka Posted: March 10, 2008 ACE IS BACK! Ace played last night to a packed house at The Emerald Theater in Mt.Clemens Michigan-outside Detroit last night (Sunday March 9). From song one, to the last the band and Ace were at top form. The band was tight loud and on! The highlights were the old KISS tunes-"Strange Ways","Rocket Ride", and solo material highlights were "Snowblind",Rock Soldiers","Hard Times" all sounding heavier than the recordings....just powerful! Ace was in great spirits, and even came up on stage for first encore drinking coffee!! He even changed "New York Groove" into "Detroit Groove" If anyone gets the chance to see Ace...go-it was that good! |
