GENE SIMMONS, the co-founder of KISS, and star of the hit A&E Reality Show, GENE SIMMONS Family Jewels, will take the stage as Grand Marshall for the first IndyCar Series race in Edmonton’s history. There is no greater thrill than to be within earshot of the fastest cars on Planet Earth. I look forward to seeing you all at the Citadel of Speed – the Rexall Edmonton Indy." Thirty-five years ago, Simmons co-founded KISS and quickly rocketed to international stardom, becoming one of rock’s most recognizable figures. Throughout its sensational history, KISS smashed box office records set by The Beatles and Elvis, and was named America’s Number One Gold Record Award Winning Group of All-Time by the Recording Industry Association of America. Even today, KISS continues to be one of rock’s biggest juggernauts.
