My name is Gianni and I’ve been a KISS fan (although fan is not the right word – ‘freak’ is a better word) since 1980 – since I was 8 years old.

I live in Malta – a small island in the middle of the Mediterranean sea.

Back in the early 1980’s it was not that easy to follow international bands here as vinyl records always arrived months after their release, international magazines took a while to get here and obviously the internet was not around yet so, being the massive KISS fan that I was, I was constantly in search for KISS info and goodies.

I was amazed to walk into a bar one day (although I was too young to be there !) and see a KISS pinball machine !! The real deal ! I immediately asked the bar owner if he wanted to sell it but the price he was asking for was an astronomical amount (especially for a 10 year old kid). I remember managing to smuggle my way into this bar every weekend and spend all my pocket money playing this machine - until one day it was no longer there. I asked where it had gone to but the bar owner had no idea.

I’ve searched high and low for this machine over the years, contacting various bar owners, game box companies but no one seemed to know of it’s whereabouts - until yesterday that is !!

Finally – after 26 years I’ve found it .... a friend of a friend of a friend (who knows I’m a huge fan) located it under a chunk of junk in a warehouse in an industrial area - every KISS fans’ dream was lying there – not in full working condition but decent at least !!!

One more important piece of memorabilia has been added to my ever growing collection – and a new mission to restore this masterpiece to its original beauty.
