Artwork for the jersey is in and it looks awesome [View artwork to the right]! All of our players will be wearing the jerseys and we will auction them off the night of the game. We will also have a limited number of jerseys that will not be game worn for sale. They are $75 per uniform with $4.50 s/h in the USA. We are accepting pre-orders now with delivery expected in mid June. You can order by calling us at 909-481-5000. As for other merchandise we will have a special tribute night baseball similar to last year. Artwork and info will be up on the KISS Tribute Night webpage at KISS ASYLUM very soon. A special hat is also a possibility.
As for the schedule for the big night, here is what we have planned:
  • The night will be totally KISS!
  • Only KISS music will be played throughout the game
  • Post game fireworks spectacular accompanied by KISS music
  • All players will have special KISS names
  • Face painting and other special KISS surprises
  • KISS trivia contests, KISS On Field Promotions, and special KISS surprises
  • The night will kick off with a set by a tribute band (TBA).

Last year's tribute night was a huge success and I think this year will even be better! We will also be working with the KAOL project and hopefully some other cool KISS surprises! As for other things with the night I have been getting some great ideas from KISS ASYLUM fans. Please e-mail me any ideas you may have to make the evening more enjoyable for you. Anybody that attended last year's event let me know what you would like added to the event this year. I am constantly amazed at how many great ideas I received from the online KISS community. Keep them coming! Remember to check the KISS Tribute Night webpage at the KISS ASYLUM website for the latest info as I get it. I look forward to seeing everybody on July 23!

(7-12-99) KISS Nite At The Ballpark II News Update
    From: Patquakes@aol.com
Big news for Kiss Nite II - Bruce Kulick and UNION will be appearing! As he did last year at the first KISS Nite at the Ballpark to great reception, Bruce will play the National Anthem prior to the game. UNION will also have a table set up displaying their merchandise and will be available for autographs. Bruce & UNION bandmate John Corabi were fantastic at the game last year, and we are flattered that the entire band will be appearing for KISS Nite II. KAOL will also have a table set up to showcase their projects, which are dedicated to raising money for the Eric Carr charity. A bunch of other surprises are still in the works and we'll keep everyone updated down to the wire.

(6-29-99) KISS Nite At The Ballpark II Update
    From: Patquakes
The events for KISS Nite II are shaping up great. Mr. Speed, who played the first KISS Night and were very popular, will be flying in from Cleveland to play the event. We are working on many new KISS contests to entertain everybody and, prior to the fireworks show, a KISS wedding will take place after the game! Jersey sales are going well, and can be ordered by calling 909-481-5000. These are custom-mesh jerseys, and we will also auction off the actual player worn jerseys after the game. Tickets are also going very fast, but can still be ordered via our web site (www.rcquakes.com) or by calling our box office at 909-481-5252. We are still working on our special guests and hopefully will be able to announce most of them this week, but we can tell you now that we are going to have a special KISS dedication from Mark Anthony, who co-wrote King of the Nighttime World (Mark is from Rancho Cucamonga).
Finally, for the post game fireworks show we would love to get a great 15 minute mix tape of KISS tunes to play. Last year we received some great submissions from KISS ASYLUM visitors and we'd love to have the same incredible participation again this year. Send submissions to: KISS Nite II Mix Tapes, P.O. Box 4139, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91729. In addition to being used during the fireworks show, the person that sends in the best tape will be sent a special KISS surprise! We hope to see everybody at the game!

The event will be sponsored by KCAL 96.7 - the local rock station. They are pumped about the event and are going to promote it heavily. This will be a huge plus for the evening. Tickets go on sale on March 13 at 8 AM. We are having a special function at the stadium for the Opening Day of ticket sales. Tickets range in price from $4.50 - $8.00. You can also order them via the telephone at 909-481-5252. Our web site is still being constructed so you cannot order tickets over the web just yet - but shortly you will be able to. If there are questions on directions to the Epicenter (stadium) just e-mail me and I will send them to you.

KISS Night At The Ballpark II - West Coast Style
    From: Pat Filippone GM
The second Kiss Tribute Night is schedule for Friday, July 23, 1999, in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Last September I accepted a job as the General Manager of the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball team and have decided to bring the Kiss tribute night to the west coast. For those of you unfamiliar with Rancho - it is located 40 miles east of Los Angeles. The Ontario International Airport is 5 minutes from the ballpark. I would like to build upon the success we had with our last event. I received so many wonderful ideas from the Asylum community last year that I would love to hear from you again to help grow this event. If you recall last year in the Washington, DC area we had fans come from as far as London and all over the US! Hopefully having the tribute night on the West Coast can be just as successful. As with last year's event we will do the following:

  • Our players will wear special uniforms.
  • Kiss music will be the only music played during the game.
  • A spectacular fireworks show will be held after the game.
  • We will have face painting booths.
  • Kiss trivia contests will be held.
  • I would also like to have Kiss vendors and a tribute band as well.
  • Plus many other items!
I would love to get input and ideas from the KISS Asylum community on the event. You can e-mail me at patquakes@aol.com.
